Key responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain the company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system.

• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify potential hazards.

• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, company policies, and ISO 45001 standards to promote a safe working environment.

• Develop and deliver safety training, inductions, and awareness programs for employees and contractors to enhance safety knowledge.

• Monitor contractor and vendor safety performance during operational and maintenance activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols.

• Prepare HSE reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve workplace safety and mitigate risks.

• Support emergency response planning and coordinate emergency drills to ensure preparedness in case of incidents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Public Health, or a related field.

• English speaker, able to communicate and report to management.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety/HSE Officer, Safety Specialist, or in a similar role.

• Proven experience in implementing ISO 45001 and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.

• Certified General Occupational Safety Expert is preferred.

• Experienced in conducting safety inspections, hazard identification, and incident investigations.
