We are looking for a Material Purchase Specialist responsible for managing the procurement of materials critical to the company's operations and production activities. This role involves planning material needs, identifying and evaluating reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods all while maintaining optimal cost and quality in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Identify and source reliable suppliers for required materials

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions, and establish purchase agreements or contracts

• Review and analyze technical drawings, specifications, and supplier quotations

• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring alignment with internal material requests

• Provide guidance, training, and technical support to suppliers to enhance their operational performance

• Conduct regular audits to ensure supplier compliance and performance meet company standards

• Lead cost-reduction initiatives, such as material localization and supplier development

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university

• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, preferably within a manufacturing environment

• Fresh graduates from reputable universities are also encouraged to apply

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Proactive, resourceful, and well-connected with a strong network of suppliers

• Willing to work on-site at our Karawang location
