Key responsibilities:
Implement and maintain the company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system.
Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify potential hazards.
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, company policies, and ISO 45001 standards to promote a safe working environment.
Develop and deliver safety training, inductions, and awareness programs for employees and contractors to enhance safety knowledge.
Monitor contractor and vendor safety performance during operational and maintenance activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Prepare HSE reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve workplace safety and mitigate risks.
Support emergency response planning and coordinate emergency drills to ensure preparedness in case of incidents.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Public Health, or a related field.
English speaker, able to communicate and report to management.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety/HSE Officer, Safety Specialist, or in a similar role.
Proven experience in implementing ISO 45001 and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.
Certified General Occupational Safety Expert is preferred.
Experienced in conducting safety inspections, hazard identification, and incident investigations.
