Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements

• Perform manual and automated testing of software applications

• Utilize SQL to query databases and validate data accuracy and integrity

• Identify, document, and track software defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential improvements

• Continuously improve testing processes and practices to enhance overall quality

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in QA, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing

• Excellent knowledge of various testing types, including functional and non-functional testing

• Proficient in SQL with the ability to write and execute complex queries

• Strong experience with REST API testing and/or E2E testing methods using tools such as Postman, JMeter, or Cypress

• Excellent understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) with experience in Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum methodologies

• Experience in the banking or financial services sector is a plus

• Proven experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP)

• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python)

• Experience with performance and load testing.
