Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

• Minimum 8-10 years of working experience, especially handling Road infrastructure in Palm Oil Plantation company

• Good knowledge of road maintenance

• Willing to be placed in remote area (Ambalau, Kab. Sintang).

Job Descriptions :

• Identify various civil works within the plantation and develop a practical project management schedule which should be reviewed on a monthly basis for shortfalls

• Carry out overall planning of the infrastructure for new plantations and coordinate the construction of all infrastructures within the plantations by considering the terrain, water flows, topographic considerations, and contours

• Assess the adequacy of present specifications and standards used for civil engineering construction and develop/revise standards to ensure quality and sustainable network of infrastructure

• Identify and source new materials for construction work having assessed the suitability and adaptability of the materials to the site/project specific condition such as soil conditions and with reference to company policies/objectives

• Evaluate and adopt cost effective methods of construction, which are durable and can be sustained with the site conditions, while ensuring quality standards are met

• Develop and set in place systems for the take over and quality evaluation by measurement of works, checking of bills, and certification of work carried out, and carry out final evaluation

• To ensure that subordinates make frequent visits to ensure that construction project are as per the expected quality and standards.
