Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and implementing safety protocols to safeguard personnel, assets, and the environment

• Enforce compliance with industry regulations, conduct risk assessments, and design emergency response plans

• Promote a culture of safety, overseeing incident investigations, and ensuring continuous improvement in HSSE practice

• Conduct regular HSSE audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement

• Coordinate and lead emergency response efforts during incidents or crises, collaborating with relevant stakeholders and authorities, including Kemenaker (Ministry of Manpower) and ESDM (Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources)

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline

• Having a minimum of fifteen (15) year experience in health, safety, security, and environmental management within the oil and gas industry. Prior experience in progressively responsible roles, including leadership positions related to HSSE

• Demonstrate the expertise in safety and environmental management

• Having an extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, and strong leadership skills

• Having Industry-recognized certifications such as NEBOSH, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST), or similar certifications relevant to HSSE management

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively convey HSSE policies, procedures, and standards to all levels of the organization. Leadership qualities to drive a safety culture and ensure compliance throughout the project

• Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with health, safety, security, and environmental aspects of oil and gas projects

• Knowledge of environmental impact assessments, pollution prevention
