The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes in a dynamic construction oil & gas company.
This role is crucial in ensuring the company attracts, hires, develops, and retains the best employees while fostering a positive, productive, and compliant workplace.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in the construction or oil & gas industry
Proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management
Proficient in both verbal and written communication in English
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Staffing:
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to onboarding
Conduct interviews and coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs.
Compensation and Benefits:
Oversee the administration of compensation, benefits, and payroll
Conduct salary benchmarking and reviews
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations regarding compensation.
Training and Development:
Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and career development
Organize orientation programs for new hires
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Performance Management:
Develop and implement performance evaluation systems
Assist in setting performance goals and objectives for employees
Provide coaching and support to managers in handling performance issues.
Employee Relations:
Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution
Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions
Promote a culture of safety and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Policy Development and Compliance:
Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations
Conduct audits to ensure legal and policy compliance
HR Strategy and Planning:
Align HR initiatives with the companys strategic goals
Develop and monitor HR budgets
Provide HR insights and recommendations to senior management.
Working Conditions
Office environment with occasional visits to construction sites
May require travel for recruitment, training, or site visits.
