Duties and Responsibilities :

• Responsible as leader for Field HSSE Engineers at work sites

• Enforce compliance with industry regulations, conduct risk assessments, and design emergency response plans

• Promote a culture of safety, overseeing incident investigations, and ensuring continuous improvement in HSSE practices

• Conduct regular HSSE inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualification :

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline

• Having a minimum of ten (10) year experience in health, safety, security, and environmental management within the oil and gas industry

• Demonstrate the expertise in safety and environmental management

• Having an extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, and strong leadership skills

• Having Industry-recognized certifications such as NEBOSH, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST), or similar certifications relevant to HSSE management

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively convey HSSE policies, procedures, and standards to all levels of the organization. Leadership qualities to drive a safety culture and ensure compliance throughout the project

• Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with health, safety, security, and environmental aspects of oil and gas projects

• Knowledge of environmental impact assessments, pollution prevention measures, and sustainable practices in the oil and gas industry

• Expertise in developing and implementing emergency response plans and procedures, including drills and training programs

• Understanding of security management principles, including risk assessments, access control, and crisis management
